The Princess Closet's mission is to "Make Prom A Reality" for high school girls from disadvantaged households.  At no cost to the family, the organization provides the dress and other related accessories that each young lady needs for her prom.  The Princess Closet is dedicated to building self-confidence and elevating self-esteem to extract the beauty within all youth.  Where there's a desire to attend prom, the Princess Closet is the bridge to attendance. The Princess Closet is a non for profit organization.

How Princess Closet Works:
Every year, we collect hundreds of dresses in EXCELLENT condition from individual donors and corporate sponsors. Volunteers throughout the community hold dress drives and fundraisers to help make the Dream Day Events every year a success. 

The Princess Closet along with volunteers organize and host several Dream Day Events in the early spring for individual high school girls. Hundreds of girls from the Illinois Area attend the Dream Day Events to find that perfect prom dress and matching accessories to make their senior prom a great memory.
